The Cabinet of Ministers has announced a tender for investors to conclude a production-sharing agreement for the Dobra lithium deposit in the Kirovohrad region, Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko reported on Telegram.
“We held an extraordinary government meeting during a business trip. An important decision was made to develop the mineral resources sector and attract investment to Ukraine,” Svyrydenko said.
She noted that the tender concerns the Dobra site.
“We are launching a tender for a production-sharing agreement in the Kirovohrad region. The site contains significant lithium reserves, which are strategically important for energy and technology,” Svyrydenko stated.
She emphasized,
“We expect an investor who will ensure not only extraction but also the development of value-added production in Ukraine. Next steps: the announcement will be published within two months, applications will be accepted for three months, followed by the selection of the winner,” Svyrydenko added.
