The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reports a successful cyberattack by Ukrainian specialists on the servers of the Russian provider Mastertel, which supports the operations of Russian banks. The ministry's Telegram press service stated:

"For several days now, disruptions have been observed in the operations of 'Mastertel,' the main communications provider for Russian banks. Alpha Bank, VTB, Sberbank, and other sponsors of terrorism are unable to provide certain services because their systems are not functioning."

The ministry emphasized that this is the result of efforts by Ukrainian cyber troops, whose operation has prevented Russians from using currency exchanges and conducting some banking operations.

In turn, the Ministry of Digital Transformation called on Ukrainians to join the ranks of the IT Army.
