In the Polish city of Katowice, the first agency of one of the largest Ukrainian tour operators, Join UP!, has opened as a franchise.
The company entered the Polish market in 2022 as a tour operator and began cooperating with local travel agencies. The opening of the franchise is the next step in strengthening the brand in the market, according to the release. Join UP! considers the development of the franchise network as one of its strategic vectors.
In addition to Poland, after 2022, the company's brand appeared in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Romania. Its position in the Moldovan market has also strengthened. They also plan to enter the markets of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The franchise in Katowice became the hundredth in the company's franchise network. Of these, 33 agencies opened after the start of full-scale invasion.
According to Marina Dayneko, the head of Join UP!'s sales development department, after the start of the major war, dozens of franchise agencies in the network closed due to occupation and destruction, and logistics for travel from Ukraine changed. Therefore, they decided to launch the "Join the Ukrainian" programme with simplified entry conditions for agents with experience.
