The International Committee of the Red Cross has officially recognized the Mayor of Kherson, Igor Kolykhaiev, as a captive or prisoner. His son, Sviatoslav, confirmed this in a statement to "Suspilne"
"I contacted the Red Cross, and they told me that the Russian side has included my father, Igor Kolykhaiev, in the list of captives, and he is currently on the territory of the Russian Federation. They did not specify his exact location or the state of his health. His status has also been updated in the coordination headquarters' database," Sviatoslav said.
According to him, Igor Kolykhaiev's captive status was officially confirmed this week on September 13th.
