The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and approved the deployment of the unmanned ground robotic system DODGER within the Defense Forces. This was reported by the Main Directorate for Lifecycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment.
Manufactured by Ukrainian weapons makers taking into account the combat experience of our soldiers, the ground robot is multifunctional. The name DODGER translates from English as “the agile one.” It can be used for a wide range of logistical tasks (including evacuating wounded from the battlefield) as well as for operational support tasks, such as laying mines in designated areas.
Despite its compact size and low profile, the DODGER can carry a quarter of a ton of payload. Additionally, this ground robot has armored protection for its body against bullets and shrapnel.
