In accordance with a decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff, the Ministry of Defense has approved the reallocation of funds to meet the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Specifically, 8 billion UAH has been directed toward the urgent needs of military units involved in the “Drone Line” project and toward strengthening unmanned systems in newly formed units.

“This will allow for the immediate funding of urgent needs for units such as ‘Magyar’s Birds,’ K2, ‘Raroh,’ ‘Achilles,’ ‘Nemesis,’ and ‘Black Forest.’ These units have demonstrated high effectiveness: just last month, they destroyed 22,700 enemy targets,” said Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.

An additional 1 billion UAH has been allocated for anti-drone protection of evacuation and logistics routes.

Separately, Ukraine is working with partners to fund the “Drone Line” project. Notably, under a bilateral agreement with the Netherlands, drones will be purchased from Ukrainian manufacturers. Thanks to this mechanism, the state-owned Oschadbank has already provided bank guarantees worth 837 million euros for contracts.

“Our goal is more drones and more advanced weaponry for our defenders,” emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
