The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has filed a lawsuit with the Higher Anti-Corruption Court requesting the imposition of sanctions, in the form of seizing two aircraft belonging to the Russian company "Ilyushin Finance Co.," for the benefit of the state. Ministry of Justice reports this.
"The Ministry of Justice has filed another lawsuit with the Higher Anti-Corruption Court for the application of sanctions in the form of asset recovery for the benefit of the state. The Ministry of Justice requests the application of sanctions provided for in paragraph 1-1 of part 1 of Article 4 of the Law 'On Sanctions' to Ilyushin Finance Co.," the statement says.
As stated by the Ministry, Ilyushin Finance Co. is a company that is part of the Russian state corporation "Rostec." The company is responsible for the functional direction in the field of leasing, service management, and sale of aircraft manufactured at Russian aviation plants.
In addition, the Ministry of Justice notes that before and during the full-scale invasion of Russia into the territory of Ukraine, Ilyushin Finance Co. collaborates with the highest political leadership of Russia. The company is involved in providing material and technical support for Russia's armed aggression.
Ilyushin Finance Co. assists Russian politicians in countering the sanctions imposed on Russia due to its aggressive war against Ukraine.
It is worth noting that the subject of recovery for the benefit of the state includes two regional passenger aircraft, An-148-100E.
