The Central Stadium in Hostomel, partially destroyed by Russian forces, has been restored by the Olena Zelenska Foundation, with support from Bayern Munich.

The renovation included the installation of two new mini-pitches, outdoor lighting, replacement of the electronic scoreboard and roof over the stands, and repairs to the changing rooms and coaches' area.

Currently, Hostomel is home to over 6,200 children, including internally displaced children, who will have the opportunity to play football at this facility.

A mural titled "More Than Football" was painted on the stands by brothers Serhiy and Vitaliy Hrehy, along with drawings and inscriptions made by players of the children's football team "Phoenix," which has been active since the community's liberation.

"Families with children are returning from abroad as adults see there are places for their children's development here," said Kateryna Pavlenko, head of the culture, youth, and sports department of the Hostomel village council.
