The programme for the 9th Ukrainian Film Festival, 'Ukraina! Festiwal Filmowy,' has been officially announced

On October 21, the 9th Ukrainian Film Festival, 'Ukraina! Festiwal Filmowy,' will kick off in Poland.

This year, the festival will open with the film 'Gray Bees' directed by Dmytro Moiseiev.

The festival programme will include three competitive sections:

Feature Film Section: This section features 12 films, 9 of which were produced with the support of the State Cinema Agency:

  • "Lessons of Tolerance" by Arkadiy Nepytaluyk
  • "I, Victory and Berlin" by Olha Ryashyna
  • "God's Will" by Denys Tarasov
  • "Steppe" by Maryna Vroda
  • "House Behind Glass" by Taras Dron
  • "Forever-Forever" by Anna Buryachkova
  • "The Editorial Office" by Roman Bondarchuk
  • "Oxygen Station" by Ivan Tymchenko
  • "Gray Bees" by Dmytro Moiseiev
  • "Konotop Witch" by Andriy Kolesnyk
  • "Under the Volcano" by Damiian Kotsur
  • "People" by Philip Hillesland

 

Documentary Film Section: This section includes the following films:

  • "Sentimental Journey to the Planet Paradjanov" by Taras Tomenko
  • "Quiet Deportation" by Dmytro Julay

A special section of the festival will be dedicated to Crimean Tatars, including a screening of the documentary 'Quiet Deportation.'

Screenings will take place at the 'KinoTeKa,' 'Atlantic,' and the Andrzej Wajda Cinema Culture Center.
