The Retailers Association of Ukraine has selected the top 15 retailers in Ukrainian e-commerce based on their total sales volume in Ukraine. The only foreign seller in this ranking took the 3rd place.
According to the Retailers Association of Ukraine blog, out of over 100 companies that sell the most in the Ukrainian internet segment, Forbes and Saturday Team selected the top 30 in three categories: goods, services, and infrastructure. Particularly, among the online stores and marketplaces, those were chosen where a significant portion of revenue comes from the platform owner's goods. Here's the ranking of the largest retailers in Ukrainian e-commerce:
- ROZETKA.
- Comfy.
- AliExpress.
- "Epicenter".
- ALLO.
- "Silpo".
- MAKEUP.
- EVA.
- "Foxtrot".
- "ATB".
- MAUDAU.
- INTERTOP.
- Kasta.
- Pethouse.
- YAKABOO.
It is noted that Rozetka was able to withstand a sales decline of 175 times at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion (down to 23 million UAH per month). Currently, the company is the leader in the volume of consolidated revenue from the marketplace and online store in 2023 - 45 billion UAH. Last year, Rozetka's sales already exceeded pre-war levels.
In second place, with nearly five times less turnover (9.7 billion UAH), is the online store of appliances and electronics Comfy. The company has the highest share of online sales, accounting for over 30%.
From this list, RAU selected the top 15 largest retailers. For some companies, such as AliExpress, "Silpo", MakeUp, and others, their performance was evaluated using YouControl data and/or Ukrainian traffic indicators (SimilarWeb), data from the consulting company Euromonitor.
The third place in the ranking is taken by the only foreign player, AliExpress, with estimated sales figures of around 7-11 billion hryvnias. According to the logistics operator Cainiao, referenced by Ukrposhta as the postal partner of the marketplace, 80% of purchases are items valued at up to $10.
