Right now, the Russians are primarily focused on creating a threat to Kostyantynivka.
This was stated during a TV broadcast by Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group.
"The enemy is mainly interested in posing a threat to the city of Kostyantynivka. That’s why they are trying to break through north of the Pokrovsk–Kostyantynivka highway while also attempting to bypass from the direction of Chasiv Yar. Our main efforts are focused on preventing them from doing so," Trehubov said.
He also noted that there has been some increased activity in the Kharkiv direction.
"But I don’t see any real prospects for its development at this stage," the spokesperson added.
According to him, the situation is relatively calmer than before in the Toretsk and Kupyansk directions.
