In the morning, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia, with reports of 13 airstrikes and five people injured.

This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Police on Telegram.

"Today, September 29, between 5:30 and 7:00 AM, the occupying forces launched a massive attack against civilians. According to preliminary information, the Russians struck 13 times (presumably with guided aerial bombs) on the regional center. As of 8:00 AM, five people have been injured," the post states.

One of the strikes hit a residential apartment building, partially destroying it. A search and rescue operation is currently underway, with rescuers working to free a woman trapped under the rubble.

Four other hits were recorded near an infrastructure facility and in a private sector. The blast wave and debris damaged warehouses, houses, and citizens' vehicles.
