A powerful generator from the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Spain has received the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Southern Region. This was announced by the Ukrainian General Staff.
The initiator of the delivery of the generator to Odessa was the Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles. Following her visit to Ukraine in early December this year, an aid package was allocated which, among other things, included five powerful generators, one of which arrived in the port city.
Given the recent attacks by the Russian Federation on energy infrastructure, which have seriously affected the electricity supply of the Ukrainian population, and in response to the urgent request for this support, agreed by the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group, the Spanish Ministry of Defense intends to continue supplying generator sets to Ukraine. In particular, five generator sets have been proposed by the Spanish Air Force and have already been transferred to the Defense Logistics Operator.
