The security service exposed another enemy accomplice during stabilization measures in the liberated areas of the Kharkiv region.
The perpetrator turned out to be a deputy of one of the village councils of the Kupyansk district.
During the capture of part of the region, he was one of the first to cooperate with the enemy. Being the owner of several agricultural enterprises, the official offered the occupiers his help in the illegal export of Ukrainian grain from the east of Ukraine.
To do this, he "re-registered" agribusiness in the local occupation administration and began paying taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the main part of the harvested crop was to be given to the invaders, and what remained was to be sold on the territory of the aggressor country.
In addition, the attacker gave the aggressors access to their own logistics warehouses for basing and repairing enemy military equipment and allocated fuel for its refueling.
After the de-occupation of the district, the deputy remained in the village and hoped to avoid punishment. However, SSU officers exposed his criminal activities and arrested him.
Investigative and operational actions are ongoing to establish the offense's circumstances.
The investigation was conducted by the SSU staff of the Kharkiv region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
