The Ministry of Information of Belarus has once again included internet resources of the local Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty edition in the "republican list of extremist materials."

The website of the Belarusian service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, as well as its pages on Twitter, Telegram, YouTube, and TikTok, are now recognized as "extremist materials."

For the first time, the Belarusian "extremist list" includes platforms of other language services of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty: TikTok channels of the Ukrainian and Russian editions.

The relevant decision was made by the Gomel Court on December 7.

The Telegram channel of the Belarusian service was first recognized as "extremist" on December 3, 2021. On December 23, 2021, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus recognized the "group of citizens united through the Internet resources of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty" as an "extremist group." The accounts of the Belarusian service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, VKontakte, and OK, along with the logo and torch, have been recognized as "extremist" from 2022 to 2023.

The website of the Belarusian edition of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty has been blocked in Belarus since August 2020.
