Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian fuel train in the occupied city of Donetsk.
On October 31, around 18:30, Ukrainian forces targeted a Russian train at the "Mushketove" railway station in the Budonivsky district of Donetsk.
Local residents reported a series of explosions that resembled the use of a rocket artillery system. As a result of the strike, fuel tanks caught fire.
Russian media reported that reporters from the occupying country were also injured as a result of the attack since they were in the vicinity at the time of the strike.
At least five damaged fuel tanks are known. Rescue services were engaged in firefighting efforts, and as of the morning of November 1, they had managed to extinguish the fire.
Donetsk, as well as its urban agglomeration, currently serves as a significant logistical hub for the Russian armed forces. The city facilitates troop rotations and the transportation of military equipment, machinery, and ammunition.
Furthermore, Russian military personnel use the occupied city as a center for establishing depots for ammunition or fuel, as was the case on October 31.
