The Ukrainian brand Ruslan Baginskiy has unveiled its first transformer The HatBag.
The accessory can be transformed from a raphia hat into a bag with a long leather handle, which can be worn over the shoulder or on the arm, according to the team. The idea behind its creation is partly inspired by the village of Iza in the Zakarpattia region.
There, craftspeople have been weaving products from willow and straw for almost 200 years, and this art is included in the UNESCO list of Ukraine's intangible cultural heritage. Some elements of the accessory were created there in collaboration with local craftsmen, explains the designer.
The HatBag is already available for purchase online, with a price of 13,659 hryvnias.
