Congratulations to the Ukrainian startup Zibra AI for receiving $500,000 from the accelerator Speedrun, launched by the American venture fund Andreessen Horowitz (a16z)!

Zibra AI was selected as one of the 32 companies out of 1,600 applicants that made it through the first batch of startups in the Speedrun accelerator from a16z. Among the companies accepted into the program, 55% are based in San Francisco, and Zibra AI was the only representative from Eastern Europe.

The funds raised by Zibra AI will be used to expand their team and further develop their innovative generative AI technology.

Speedrun provides funding and coaching to the most promising startups. Each company accepted into the program received a starting investment of $500,000 and presented their product to investors at the Speedrun Demo Day held in Los Angeles in June 2023.

Zibra AI specializes in creating AI-generated 3D assets for games and virtual environments. The company has already accumulated a total of $2.5 million in investments.

In late 2022, Zibra AI raised $1.2 million from Gismart, SID Venture Partners, and angel investors, including Sebastian Borget from The Sandbox and Phil Libin from Evernote. The company also received an Epic MegaGrant from Epic Games during the same period.

Additionally, Zibra AI represented Ukraine as part of the national delegation at SXSW 2023, an international conference founded in 1987.
