The Ukrainian technological delegation at CES 2023 took part in the Silicon Valley Funding Summit by AngelLaunch and Enrich in the USA, where the most promising global startups from North America and Europe presented their projects to Silicon Valley investors and potential corporate partners.
4 Ukrainian hardware startups were selected for pitching to more than 100 international investors:
- SolarPlex is a service for upgrading new and already installed traditional solar panels into hybrid ones.
- G-Mak is an innovative security device equipped with a number of unique technological solutions capable of physically stopping or disorienting an intruder.
- WheelKeep is an invisible security system that helps cycling enthusiasts protect their bikes from theft and enjoy the freedom of daily cycling.
- Knopka is an advanced nurse call system for automating patient care in hospital beds.
In addition, on the first day of the visit to the Consumer Electronic Summit in Las Vegas, 12 Ukrainian startups had the opportunity to meet with Jasjit Singh, the executive director of SelectUSA.
SelectUSA is a U.S. government programme led by the U.S. Department of Commerce that promotes job-creating business investment and awareness of the important role economic development plays in the U.S. economy.
Jasjit Singh emphasized the constant support of Ukraine, expressed his words of support for brave Ukrainian entrepreneurs, as well as his admiration for the courage and willpower of Ukrainians: "Despite the war and all the challenges of wartime, Ukrainian startups, as usual, came to CES to impress the public with their inventions and solutions."
The organization of the Ukrainian delegation at CES 2023 was made possible thanks to the joint work of UVCA - Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, the Ukrainian Startup Fund with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program (USAID CEP), Western NIS Enterprise Fund, GIST Net and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
