Benefactors can see for themselves the extent of the destruction of Ukrainian cities as a result of Russian aggression.
Charity initiative to support Ukraine UNITED24 presented a site on which you can take a virtual tour of the cities of Ukraine that were destroyed due to Russian attacks.
Visitors can assess the consequences of enemy aggression in six cities, including Kyiv, Irpin, Kharkiv, Izyum, Chernihiv, and Sumy. The site works in street view mode.
"We all know the Google Street View service, which allows you to walk the streets of any city worldwide. And did you know that for a year, Google has been unable to update the maps and show destroyed Ukrainian cities and other terrible consequences of the Russian invasion?" â stated in a UNITED24 Facebook post. â "The independent agency And Us from Dubai, in partnership with UNITED24, created The Undeniable Street View site, thanks to which you can walk the streets of six Ukrainian cities."
At the bottom of the screen, you can choose the option of how the cities looked before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. You can also donate to the reconstruction of Ukraine on the platform.
We will remind you that the United24 fundraising platform, initiated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is the main place for collecting donations supporting Ukraine. Funds are deposited into the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine and are directed by relevant ministries to the most important needs in three directions: "Defense and demining", "Medical assistance," and "Reconstruction of Ukraine". To date, about 269 million dollars have been received from benefactors.
United24 ambassadors include outstanding athletes Andriy Shevchenko, Elina Svitolina, and Oleksandr Usyk, creative director of Balenciaga Demna, American actors Liev Schreiber and Mark Hamill, band Imagine Dragons, singer, and actress Barbra Streisand, astronaut Scott Kelly and historian Timothy Snyder.
