The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Wednesday, November 22, supported the resolution to approve the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) regarding sectoral restrictive measures for the defense industry of Russia and Belarus for a period of 50 years.
This legislative initiative (No. 10271) received support from 304 deputies during the parliamentary vote.
"By this decision, the NSDC supported the proposals submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the application of certain sectoral economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) in the defense industry for a period of 50 years," as stated by PM Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
