To strengthen the Ukrainian military and save thousands of defender lives, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the Ukrainian presidential fundraising platform UNITED24 assembled an Army of Drones. In July 2022, the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to support the UNITED24 fundraising platform for the “Army of Drones” project. This is a complex programme that involves drone procurement, delivery, maintenance and replacement, as well as pilot training.
Mykhailo Fedorov shared the weekly achievements of the drone army in his Telegram channel.
"Our soldiers continue to target artillery that hinders the advance. We have a new record - minus 64 Russian artillery pieces. Drone operators have also hit 27 tanks, 55 trucks, and much more.
The total number of damaged equipment in the past week is 205 units. These are powerful results. We are reinforcing the Defense Forces with drones along the entire front line and thank you for your protection."
