British-Ukrainian defence-tech startup Trypillian has revealed its new line of tactical UAVs and announced that its deep-strike drone is entering final preparations for field-testing. The company published the product catalogue publicly for the first time on its website.

The newly unveiled drone family includes four main systems:

  • FPV — compact and cost-effective drones in multiple sizes, with top speeds up to 90 km/h
  • Relay carrier — designed to extend comms range, with a 12 km tactical radius
  • Bomber — a modular strike platform with a portable ground control unit
  • VTOL — vertical take-off and landing reconnaissance UAV, reaching up to 3,500 meters

Trypillian plans to test these platforms with Ukrainian forces in real combat environments soon.

"We’re launching our tactical UAVs to position ourselves as an integrator of comprehensive defence systems. Close-range drones aren’t a product — they’re a process. Killzone is the product. We provide hardware, software, distributed manufacturing, and an operational doctrine that helps our partners establish a resilient perimeter against threats," said Ivan Matveichenko CEO of Trypillian.

Trypillian works on two strategic tracks: solving complex engineering problems for long-range precision strike systems and improving and scaling proven frontline tools, like FPV and bombers, to make them more reliable, affordable, and available

"Most infantry troops have never seen flashy AI-powered gadgets — but they urgently need practical, robust, and accessible solutions to stay alive and deliver firepower. Ukraine stands — as long as the infantry stands," Ivan Matveichenko CEO of Trypillian said

The startup sees its deep-strike system as a game-changing capability still in prototyping. Meanwhile, its family of tactical drones is entering combat trials — and will be presented to the public in the coming months.

Rather than build factories, Trypillian uses an asset-light business model — focusing its core company on:

  • Financial and legal operations
  • Project management
  • MVP design and R&D

Production, technical documentation, and system engineering are handled by partner teams in Ukraine, some of the most experienced and innovative in the country.

$5M in Investment and Plans for Growth

In May 2025, Trypillian raised $5 million in funding, led by former UK government minister Brooks Newmark, who also joined as a co-founder.

The funds are aimed at:

  • Expanding R&D in Ukraine
  • Growing the product portfolio
  • Hiring high-level talent
  • Increasing international presence

Ukraine remains Trypillian’s priority market — where its systems are stress-tested under real combat conditions. But the company also aims to serve European defence forces, especially countries with a strong interest in dual-use innovation and regional security.

We want to prove that Ukraine’s defense industry can not only survive, but lead innovation — and integrate into Western markets.
