The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Finland have signed a memorandum on digital transformation. During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov and Minister of Transport and Communications of Finland Timo Harakka discussed further exchange of experience and cooperation between the countries in rebuilding digital infrastructure and strengthening cyber defense.
The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation continues to build a digital state and is constantly looking for new opportunities to strengthen its resilience. This is especially important in wartime. That is why we seek support from other countries to implement innovative ideas.
"We are grateful to Finland for supporting digitalization in Ukraine in such a difficult time. The signed memorandum will help strengthen the digital transformation and modernization of telecom infrastructure in Ukraine. We will also adopt the best practices to prevent cyber and hybrid threats and develop the digital resilience of the state," said Mykhailo Fedorov.
"I am very impressed by the work done in Ukraine to promote digitalisation. With this Memorandum of Understanding we are already looking ahead towards the time of Ukraineâs reconstruction. I am sure that we can learn a lot from each other," added Timo Harakka.
The signed memorandum will allow the countries to exchange experience in the areas of digitalization, information technology and cybersecurity. Ukraine and Finland will cooperate in the field of digital resilience, as well as in the restoration and modernization of digital infrastructure.
