President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.
The Head of State briefed the Prime Minister on the consequences of Russia's attacks on Ukrainian cities and communities. Volodymyr Zelensky outlined Ukraine's need for anti-ballistic missiles. The leaders discussed the work to develop a European anti-ballistic system.
The President thanked Sweden for its participation in the PURL initiative. The Head of State stressed that it is important for our country to receive the full planned volume of support from partners this year.

Particular attention was devoted to strengthening Ukraine's combat aviation. The President and the Prime Minister emphasized the tremendous importance of the agreement signed in Kyiv for Ukraine's purchase of Swedish Gripen E fighter jets. In addition, Ukraine expects to receive 16 Gripen C/D aircraft as military assistance from Sweden in early 2027. The leaders also discussed accelerating the training of Ukrainian pilots.
The discussion also covered preparations for a Drone Deal.
