Ukraine and the Czech Republic have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in developing mutual trade, simplifying and promptly resolving issues related to agricultural product exports, and further developing and implementing joint projects in fisheries and similar fields.
Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Denis Bashlyk, made this announcement following the tenth session of the Ukrainian-Czech Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation.
"The Czech side also expressed interest in investments and developing the agricultural machinery market," said the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, citing his words.
Additionally, the Czech side informed about the establishment of an agricultural attaché position at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kyiv. The parties also agreed to deepen cooperation in this sphere to enhance mutual trade and discussed veterinary control issues.
