Ukrainian and UK Defense Ministers Mykhailo Fedorov and John Healey have agreed on a systematic exchange of data on the use of weapons as part of their joint work, which will allow technologies to be improved more rapidly in line with battlefield conditions and increase effectiveness for both countries.
Fedorov reported this on Telegram.
The ministers also agreed to strengthen cooperation in research and development (R&D) and to support innovative joint projects that deliver practical results on the battlefield.
They separately discussed preparations for the next Ramstein-format meeting, which is scheduled to take place next month.
During the conversation, Fedorov also outlined his key objectives in his position, naming the strengthening of air defense as the top priority.
Among other things, the newly appointed head of the Ministry of Defense thanked the United Kingdom for its “extremely effective security cooperation” under the Agreement on a Hundred-Year Partnership. He also highlighted the importance of the joint Octopus drone production project, which is already strengthening Ukraine’s defense against Shahed-type drone attacks.
“The United Kingdom remains one of the key partners in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities,” the minister emphasized.
