Ukrainian Defence Forces struck several important Russian military facilities on October 7 and overnight on October 8, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Among the targets hit were a mesh network relay station in the Black Sea and a field artillery ammunition depot near the temporarily occupied settlement of Verkhnoosykove in Donetsk region.
Ukrainian forces also struck a facility used by the Russian military to store, prepare and launch attack drones near occupied Donetsk.
The General Staff emphasised that systematic strikes against such facilities are aimed at reducing Russia's ability to attack Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.
In addition, Ukrainian forces successfully struck Russian command posts near Prydorozhnie in Luhansk region and Ocheretyne in Donetsk region.
A Russian military logistics depot near Ocheretyne was also hit.
