On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the ambassador of Ukraine to Greece Sergii Shutenko wrote on his Twitter account:

Today we mark 30 years of the establishing diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Greece. We value our partnership in many spheres and exceptional people-to-people ties, based on cultural and historical grounds. We’re confident the Ukraine-Greece partnership will further thrive!

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine added a post on Facebook:

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Greece. We work towards expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between our friendly peoples.

Greece recognised the independence of Ukraine on December 31, 1991. The countries established diplomatic relations on January 15, 1992. Greece opened an embassy in Kyiv in 1993. Moreover, the consulates general of Greece operate in Mariupol and Odessa.

History of Greece is very tied to Odessa, were the association of patriots "Filiki Etairia" planned and fund the Greek rebellion against the Turks in XIX century.
