The Ukrainian Ministry of Veterans Affairs has launched registration for the Veterans' Games, which will take place this year in four regions of Ukraine, culminating in a national competition in Kyiv.

Participants will compete in two disciplines: CrossFit and Esports.

CrossFit Regional Stages:

  • November 2: Kryvyi Rih
  • November 9: Odessa
  • November 16: Ivano-Frankivsk
  • November 23: Zhytomyr
  • The national competition will be held on December 8 in Kyiv.

Esports Regional Selection Stages:

  • November 17: Counter-Strike 2 (online across Ukraine)
  • November 17: FIFA (online across Ukraine)
  • November 24: DOTA 2 (online across Ukraine)
  • The national esports competitions will take place on December 6-7 in Kyiv.

The regional competitions are open to military personnel, war veterans, and individuals released from military service or law enforcement who have suffered injuries or illnesses while on duty in combat zones.

These events are part of the Ministry's project Development of Sports for Veterans and align with the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Environment in Ukraine, developed at the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska.
