Ukraine has returned 71 defenders and four civilians from Russian captivity

On Friday, May 31, Ukraine secured the release of 75 individuals from Russian captivity, including 71 servicemen.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky, referencing his post on Telegram.

"Throughout this time, we have never ceased our efforts to bring every one of our people back from Russian captivity. Today, we have an important result: 75 more of our people have returned to Ukraine," he stated.

According to the President, the released individuals include soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard, border guards, and four civilians.

"We remember everyone. We are making maximum efforts to find each and every one. Thanks to the team working on the exchanges," he noted.
