Ukraine has signed a memorandum with Denmark regarding the purchase of weapons and military equipment from Ukrainian manufacturers.

According to Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, the parties are already "at the final stage," and the first contract will soon be concluded.

"It can be said that today defense investments have taken place. We have started to attract these investments from partners. I called on countries to finance production specifically in Ukraine. We have the capabilities; we needed support and partnership from our allies. We have achieved results in this matter. Today we signed a memorandum with Denmark regarding the purchase of weapons and military equipment from Ukrainian manufacturers," Umerov said at a briefing in Brussels, discussing the outcomes of the 23rd meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Rammstein format).

The Minister added, "We are already at the final stage, and very soon the first signed contract will follow."

"The legal agreements with the Danish side have already been completed," Umerov emphasized.

Separately, he highlighted that during the Rammstein meeting on Thursday, they welcomed a new participant from Latin America - Argentina.

"It seems to be the first country from Latin America to join the Rammstein group. We are constantly working on involving Global South countries in various formats and tracks on different issues," the Defense Minister noted.
