On the night of November 14, Ukrainian drones launched a massive attack on Novorossiysk.

One of the strikes, as determined by GEOINT specialists from KiberBoroshnо, hit the location of the 1537th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces, causing the detonation of missiles for the S-300/S-400 air defense systems.

Also one of the largest oil-loading complexes in southern Russia — Sheskharis — came under strike. Debris from the drones caused a fire at the facility’s oil depot. It took nearly two hours to extinguish the blaze. According to the operational headquarters, there were no casualties.

Sheskharis was built in 1964 and is used for receiving, storing, and loading oil and petroleum products for export, as well as for supplying refineries in the Krasnodar region. The complex includes 30 oil tanks with a total capacity of 820,000 cubic meters, 16 tanks for fuel oil, and ten for diesel. The facility belongs to the state company Transneft. A significant share of Russia’s Urals-grade oil exports by sea passes through it.

During the same overnight raid, one of the civilian vessels in the port of Novorossiysk was damaged by Ukrainian drones. Additionally, several apartment buildings were damaged.

A total of 172 personnel and 51 units of emergency and rescue equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the drone attack, according to the Krasnodar Region operational headquarters.
