American company Cyber Ranges, in collaboration with the State Special Communications Service and CERT-UA, launches the Tryzub cybersecurity training service, which will simulate the actions of hackers Gamaredon and Sandworm.
This was announced on his Telegram channel by the Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology, and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.
"Other countries will study Ukraine's experience in combating cyberattacks on the Tryzub platform. Governments, security, and military organizations from other countries will train to counter cyberattacks based on Ukraine's experience," noted the official.
According to Fedorov, the platform will simulate real cyberattacks on critical infrastructure but in a safe environment.
In particular, the service will replicate the actions of major hacker groups Gamaredon and Sandworm, who organized operations in Ukraine.
Thus, as announced, the service will be used for training military units, government and law enforcement agencies, and operators of critical networks worldwide.
Also, part of the income from the training will be donated by the Tryzub team to UNITED24 to support Ukraine.
According to the State Special Communications Service, one of the most active and capable enemy hacker groups, the Russian Gamaredon (UAC-0010, Armageddon), has been involved in 11 incidents of critical or high severity. However, experts report that their activity has increased.
