President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a future reshuffle of the Cabinet of Ministers as part of the implementation of a new political strategy, as well as changes in the leadership of law enforcement agencies.

The head of state made the statement on Telegram following a meeting with Yulia Svyrydenko.

“Personnel changes will begin in Ukraine to ensure the implementation of an updated political strategy. We discussed the details with Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko. We determined that changes require an update of the Cabinet of Ministers. I am grateful to Yulia for her clear, stable, and effective work as Prime Minister, for years of productive work within Ukraine’s team, and I proposed that she lead a new important area in relations with a key partner. I expect that together with parliamentarians we will carry out the necessary changes in the Ukrainian government. There will also be changes among the leadership of law enforcement agencies,” Zelensky said.

According to him, Ukraine is changing its political strategy.

“For each priority foreign policy direction, there will be a specific person with significant experience, capable of implementing what we agree upon at the level of leaders and what the Ukrainian people expect,” Zelensky said.

He added that among the most important areas are the United States and agreements on licenses for the production of Patriot systems, as well as other bilateral security cooperation, which should be reflected in concrete achievements for both countries and for Ukrainian and American companies.

Another major step toward strengthening Europe this decade could be a European anti-ballistic missile project, the President emphasized.

Zelensky identified deepening economic, political, and cultural ties with the EU and Ukraine’s neighboring countries as a priority, noting that relations with some of them “require a new foundation.” He particularly highlighted Poland and Hungary.

In addition, Ukraine’s priorities include the Middle East and Gulf region as one of the most promising global areas for security and economic cooperation, as well as China; key international organizations that influence global decisions and can provide greater assistance in ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Zelensky added that changes would also take place in domestic governance.

“There are new challenges and new tasks. All work in Ukraine’s frontline and border regions, which suffer from Russian attacks every day, requires significant strengthening. I expect an increase in the supply of necessary weapons to our army, including all types of drones,” the President stressed.

Zelensky also identified preparations for winter and readiness for all possible threats as an important priority. According to him, the transformation of state-owned companies, which play a significant role in Ukraine’s resilience, must be accelerated. He also emphasized that Ukraine’s agreements with partners in the field of reconstruction require special attention.
