Ukraine currently produces almost 50% of everything needed for the war against Russia domestically.
This was stated in an interview with Report.az by Pavlo Palisa, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
“Right now, we produce almost 50% of everything Ukraine needs for the war inside the country. On our own, together with partner countries, through joint production, joint ventures. And we are ready to continue increasing these volumes,” he said.
Palisa expressed confidence that Ukraine will definitely surprise the world soon, and more than once.
“Of course, we are working on air defense, complexes of different ranges and various operational specifics against different targets. All of this is done to secure our territory, our airspace from ballistic missiles, various types of cruise missiles, and also from Shahed-type drones,” he added.
The Deputy Head of the OPU noted that Ukraine already has many technological solutions nearing completion.
“We already have many technological solutions at the final stages, and soon we will see them in action. There are also solutions that have passed successful combat tests and were used to carry out real missions under the enemy’s cunning plans. We are making significant efforts in developing our own anti-aircraft missile systems, working on an effective solution to shoot down ballistic, aerobalistic, hypersonic missiles, as well as on an effective and cheap way to destroy Shaheds,” said Palisa.
