Ukraine will be able to host its IT systems in the "clouds" of NATO member countries, and the registry of conscripts will be located exclusively on the territory of Ukraine. Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalization, Katerina Chernogorenko, announced this during a telethon "Unified News," commenting on the digitization of the army.

"The adoption of draft law 10062 is the unlocking of the digitization of the army, the digitization of the Armed Forces, and the ability to be more flexible, faster, as well as provide people-centric services for military personnel and conscripts. Cloud services have become available to us. Ukraine will be able to host its IT systems in the clouds of NATO member countries. This will strengthen the ability to securely place this data, avoid the physical destruction of data processing centers, exchange intelligence from partners more quickly, and also unload our software so that we don't have to additionally protect such centers. The conscript registry will not be hosted in the cloud; it is located on the territory of Ukraine - it is important to note. It is already deployed, it is already working, and it has already received a comprehensive information security system," Chernogorenko stated.

Commenting on the creation of the "Obereg" register of conscripts, reservists, and recruits, she noted that the adopted law improved the interaction between the registers, expanded the list of information about conscripts. This will allow filling "Obereg" through a simplified procedure, without unnecessary bureaucracy, unnecessary certificates, and photocopies. Chernogorenko emphasized that now it will be possible to receive necessary data in real-time from other registers. An electronic account for conscripts will also be introduced, and citizens will be able to make changes directly in their accounts regarding their personal data, making the process more service-oriented and convenient, the deputy minister noted.

In addition, the law will make it easier to obtain the status of a participant in hostilities.

"The status of a participant in hostilities is also introduced, the ability to submit an electronic application for obtaining the status of a participant in hostilities. We strive for this service to be as fast and customer-oriented as possible. After the law comes into force, we will be able to process all information regarding obtaining such status online without unnecessary paper documents," explained Chernogorenko.
