Ukraine will receive non-lethal equipment and machinery from Slovakia, including five Bozena demining vehicles.

The corresponding agreement was signed by Ukrainian Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal and Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Robert Kaliňák. Under the agreement, Slovakia will provide Ukraine free of charge with engineering and construction equipment, including Bozena vehicles, transport, demining systems, and medical evacuation means.

“During the meeting, I thanked my Slovak colleague for the assistance that saves Ukrainian lives. We feel Slovakia’s support on our path toward a just and lasting peace,” said Denys Shmyhal.

He also expressed gratitude for the aid packages Slovakia has already provided, noting that the country is now preparing its fifteenth support package.

“We also discussed prospects for cooperation between Ukrainian and Slovak companies. I thank the government and people of Slovakia for their continued support,” the Ukrainian Minister of Defense concluded.
