The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the sale of the 92-meter yacht Royal Romance, which belongs to the family of former Member of Parliament Viktor Medvedchuk and is located in Croatia.

This was reported by the Agency for Search and Asset Management (ASAM).

Earlier, by rulings of investigative judges of the Lviv Lychakivsky District Court, an arrest was imposed on the property of the non-resident legal entity LANELIA HOLDINGS LTD, namely: the ship (yacht) Royal Romance, and transferred to the management of ASAM for realization.

On February 16, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the sale of the 92-meter yacht by ASAM.

"ASAM is convinced that the proceeds from the sale of the yacht will significantly strengthen the state budget and the defense capability of our country, while state traitors will be held accountable legally and economically," the agency said.

Recall that in December 2023, information emerged that the yacht, which was seized at the beginning of the year in Croatia and belonged to the suspected state traitor MP Viktor Medvedchuk, would be sold at auction. The proceeds will go to benefit Ukraine.
