Ukraine’s foreign trade turnover reached $70.3 billion in the first six months of 2026

Ukraine’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $70.3 billion in January–June 2026, according to the State Customs Service.

“During January–June 2026, Ukraine imported goods worth $49.3 billion and exported goods worth $21 billion,” the agency said.

The largest suppliers of goods to Ukraine were China, with imports totaling $13.9 billion, Poland with $4.7 billion, and Germany with $3.2 billion.

The largest export destinations for Ukrainian goods were Poland ($2.4 billion), Türkiye ($1.8 billion), and Italy ($1.3 billion).

The top three categories of Ukrainian exports were:

  • food products — $12.5 billion;
  • metals and metal products — $2.2 billion;
  • machinery, equipment, and transport vehicles — $1.8 billion.

Among total imports during January–June 2026, 72% consisted of the following categories:

  • machinery, equipment, and transport vehicles — $21.3 billion;
  • fuel and energy products — $7.4 billion;
  • chemical industry products — $6.9 billion.
