On September 16-17, 2024, the GreenTech Global Forum was held in Rome, an international fair on technologies for energy transition, circular economy, e-mobility and the blue economy, created by the Lazio Region in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SIMEST (finance for internationalization), SACE (export credit) and the Italian Agency for Foreign Trade.
The event attracted 400 participants and 80 speakers from 25 countries who animated the 12 panels over the two days at the Gazometro Ostiense in Rome.
The programme offered a detailed overview of global best practices ranging from digitalization of transport, energy transition, green hydrogen, public/private cooperation for climate and environmental protection, with a focus on North African countries, overlooking the Mediterranean, and on the green energy market in Southeast Asia.
In this important event of business and innovation, the Ukrainian company PANORAMA ECO TECHNOLOGY, based in Cherkasy presented a modern system to convert plastic, tires and other carbon-containing refuse (SRF and MSW) into the energy, without smoke and the usage of filters, producing up to 10 MWh of heat or electric energy. The technology and equipment which can be produced and implemented all over the world to effectively convert waste into heat and electricity.
This interesting solution in the field of alternative energy is the result of the R&D efforts in Ukraine, where frequent blackouts and energy shortages have prompted researchers to explore innovative solutions. One potential answer is the utilization of waste as a free source of power that aligns with environmental demands. This approach may offer a viable path towards sustainable energy production.
