Ukrgasbank has provided a €5 million loan to TBF Group — a leader in the Ukrainian market and one of the largest fruit, vegetable, and berry processors in Europe, the bank’s press service reported.

TBF Group is an international group of companies of Ukrainian origin that has been specializing in the processing of fruits, vegetables and berries for over 20 years. The compnay is one of the largest producers of concentrated juice in Europe and leaders in Ukraine.

The funds will be used for:

  • Installing a 3.7 MW solar power plant and a 4.3 MW cogeneration unit, which will allow the company to fully cover its electricity and heat needs;
  • Purchasing a modern drying complex (1.5 tons/hour) to produce dry pulp for use in pellets, animal feed, and other products.

The company says this project will help them become more energy-independent, reduce costs, and make production more efficient. Additionally, it will enable a shift to zero-waste technologies and contribute to the development of clean energy and a circular economy in Ukraine.
