On Saturday, December 17, the final of the WTA 125 tennis tournament among women took place in Limoges, France.
The first racket of Ukraine, Angelina Kalinina, became the tournament's winner.
In the final, the Ukrainian beat Denmark's Clara Tauson in three sets.

The final match lasted 2 hours and 18 minutes. During the game, Kalinina filed right through four times, made two double faults, and converted four out of nine breakpoints.

It is worth noting that this is the first title of Angelina Kalinina in 2022 and the first in her career at the WTA level. Previously, Angelina only once reached the final of a competition of this level - in July 2021, she lost in the final of Budapest to Yulia Putintseva from Kazakhstan.
Thanks to the victory in Limoges, Kalinina will start next week in the top 40 of the world rankings.
We add that Angelina Kalinina plans to start the new season at the WTA 500 competition in Adelaide, where she will begin qualifying, then play at the WTA 250 tournament in Hobart, after which she will perform at the Australian Open.
