Ukrainian miltech company Skiftech has received a contract from the U.S. Army to develop and maintain its tactical laser training systems for soldier training. The company announced this on Facebook.

The program aims to provide service members with access to realistic and effective training simulators.

A total of 10 companies received contracts from the U.S. Army as part of a 10-year program with a budget of $921.1 million.

Among them are Athena Technologies, Cole Engineering Services, Cubic Defense, General Dynamics Mission Systems, Lockheed Martin, Mettle Ops, Ravenswood Solutions, Saab, and Vertex Aerospace.

Funding and specific project locations will be determined during the issuance of specific orders. It is expected that work under the contract will be completed by March 5, 2035.
