Products of Ukrainian companies and defense industry enterprises are exhibited at the International Defense Industry Fair IDEF-2025 in Istanbul — one of the largest defense industry exhibitions in the region.
“The joint exhibition of the Association features developments from 18 member companies, including Kvertus, NVP “Athlon Avia,” Ukrainian Armored Vehicles, UKRTAC, DEMINING SOLUTIONS, AVIATION SYSTEMS OF UKRAINE, as well as our partners from the public sector, notably the “LUCH” State Kyiv Design Bureau. The products cover a wide range of defense and technological solutions — from electronic warfare systems and UAVs to armored vehicles, medical equipment, demining systems, anti-tank complexes, and modern communication tools. NAUDI’s participation in IDEF-2025 is not only a demonstration of Ukrainian technological potential but also a concrete step toward strengthening defense diplomacy and expanding international cooperation,” said Serhiy Honcharov, Executive Director of the National Association of Defense Industry (NAUDI).
The Ukrainian booth features manufacturers of UAVs, electronic warfare systems, armored vehicles, weapons and ammunition, battlefield management systems, and other developments.
“The key task of the Association is not only to showcase products but also to demonstrate the capabilities of Ukrainian manufacturers and the pace of sector development even during wartime. Such events open new opportunities for cooperation, attracting investments, finding new markets, and strengthening the resilience of the national defense industry. Already on the first day of the exhibition, representatives of the Association are holding negotiations with international companies, procurement agencies, and potential partners from Turkey, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeastern Europe,” Honcharov explained.
According to him, Ukrainian defense industry products are of great interest to the defense ministries of many countries, so the NAUDI booth is always crowded.
The National Association of Defense Industry (NAUDI), founded in 2020, unites leading Ukrainian manufacturers of military and dual-use equipment, weapons, and ammunition. Currently, NAUDI enterprises and companies are key suppliers to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and other military formations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The International Defense Industry Fair IDEF is a globally recognized major international platform for presenting defense-technical products, covering about 1,500 companies producing equipment and weapons from more than 50 countries worldwide.
IDEF-2025 is held in Istanbul from July 22 to 27. This year, the exhibition features nearly a thousand local and over 400 foreign companies. Participation of 219 delegations from about 100 countries and international organizations is expected.
