This technology can be used where it is impossible to lay a wired Internet or in areas of rescue operations at disaster sites.

The GlobalLogic company is working on software for equipment that allows you to provide Wi-Fi signal coverage of the territory within a radius of 120 kilometers from the access point. Andriy Yavorsky, Vice President of Strategy and Technologies of GlobalLogic, stated this in an official press release.

Ukrainian engineers from GlobalLogic work both on 5G-based developments and on software for partners that create the possibility of communication in those regions where there is no communication at all, or it is available but with limited access.

"Today, our specialists are involved in the creation of developments that 10 years ago could have seemed like a plot from fantastic movies and are among the first in the world to become pioneers in the development of solutions based on 5G. For example, we create software for equipment that allows you to cover the area with a Wi-Fi signal within a radius of up to 120 kilometers from the access point. Where it is impossible to install wired internet, or even in areas of rescue operations at disaster sites," Andriy Yavorsky says.

GlobalLogic claims that Ukrainian specialists are developing technologies used by 50% of all mobile and Internet subscribers. At the same time, GlobalLogic engineers are involved in creating digital products for three of the five largest telecommunications equipment manufacturers in the world.
