Yaroslav Parkhisenko, CEO of the startup Rcam, shared that the $25,000 grant from Brave1 will enable the team to complete the research phase and move into mass production of their smart surveillance cameras. According to Parkhisenko, reported by AIN.UA, serial production is set to begin in the fall of 2024.
The team is currently enhancing object recognition using artificial intelligence to automate security for various sites, borders, and positions. Rcam cameras are already being tested in military units, allowing for rapid product improvements. They can also be used in the civilian sector for monitoring sites such as quarries, warehouses, agricultural lands, and private property.
The Rcam kit includes:
- 3 cameras
- Processor unit
- Tablet
- Cables
- Two power banks
In addition to the Brave1 grant, Rcam has previously secured $35,000 from the DualUse program by USF and $10,000 in private funding.
