In the Kharkiv region, an anti-aircraft defense of the Russian invaders was destroyed.
This is stated in a message on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
"In the Kharkiv region, during aerial reconnaissance, border guards, together with the Ukrainian Defense Forces, saw an air defense system of the invaders. The defenders of Ukraine accurately hit the target and destroyed Russian equipment," the note says.
As noted in the ministry, in this way, all enemy weapons on the territory of Ukraine will be destroyed, and each occupier will pay for the horrors that Ukrainians have to endure.
- On August 26, it became known that mandatory evacuation from three more regions was being prepared in case the situation worsened at the front. Although mandatory evacuation has been announced only in the Donetsk region, it is being prepared in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions.
- At the same time, Oleg Sinegubov, the chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said that the Russian occupation troops continue their attempt to break through the positions of the Defense Forces in the Kharkiv region.
