Ukrspecsystems is equipping the Ukrainian military with a new powerful antenna tracker, the AT-2, designed to aid drone operators.
According to the National Association of Defense Industries of Ukraine (NAUDI), this development ensures high-quality and stable communication on the front lines.
In a war where the speed and accuracy of information can be a matter of life and death, antenna trackers provide reliable communication, which is crucial for drones and other unmanned systems.
"Therefore, NAUDI member company Ukrspecsystems is supplying the military with its new AT-2 antenna tracker, which significantly improves the quality and range of communication," said the association.
The AT-2 allows for the transmission of telemetry and HD video up to 200 km away.
The use of two communication channels ensures stable data transmission even in challenging conditions, and maintains a backup channel for added reliability.
The AT-2 also features MESH functionality, which extends the communication range through other drones, and operates across a wide temperature range, making it a versatile tool for various combat conditions.
The AT-2 includes two integrated data transmission channels:
- A primary channel for video and telemetry transmission.
- A secondary channel that ensures greater range and uses different frequencies to maintain control over the drone amid various interferences.
The base height of the antenna is 2.5 meters on a quadpod (effective up to 130 km) and 5 meters with a mast for increased range and signal strength up to 200 km.
Overall, Ukrspecsystems has developed a range of AT antenna trackers capable of transmitting signals from 60 km to 200 km.
