Ukrzaliznytsia launches a new train Kyiv — Budapest starting December 15.

This was reported by the company's press service.

The schedule will be arranged so that passengers can transfer to trains to Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Innsbruck, and Zurich. The waiting time between trains will not exceed two hours.

"The new timetable includes a record 20 international railway connections – five times more than before the war. The establishment of this route involved extensive diplomatic efforts to ensure that wide carriages – familiar to Ukrainians, such as compartments and SV – with no fewer than 8 per train, could transport Ukrainians to and from the capital of Hungary," said the chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Pertsovskyi.

The train will depart at 10:16 and arrive in Budapest at 06:00. On the return journey, it will depart at 22:40 and arrive in Kyiv at 19:11. The price of a compartment ticket for the Kyiv — Budapest train will be approximately 3,000 UAH.
